This model belongs to the Retail version, which means the electric fireplace does not connect to the water mains and is filled manually. Unlike the Pro version, this model includes water tanks where the necessary water for the fireplace operation is poured.

The Dimplex Cassette 500 Retail Multicolor electric fireplace comes with two control units: a wireless Bluetooth remote and a wired remote.

The wired remote can be installed either inside the fireplace or placed externally near it. It is important to note that the wired remote also acts as a Bluetooth receiver for the wireless remote, so it must always be connected to the fireplace.

Additionally, the fireplace includes an integrated control panel on the unit itself, allowing basic adjustments to be made.

A distinctive feature of the Cassette 500R RGB Multi Opti-Myst, compared to the monochromatic Cassette 500R Opti-Myst model, is the possibility of remote control via smartphone. To do this, it is necessary to download the Flame Connect app.

Thanks to the Flame Connect app, the user has advanced options for configuring and controlling the fireplace functions (please refer to the instruction manual).

Water vapor electric fireplaces, unlike bioethanol fireplaces and traditional wood fireplaces, are completely fire-safe and do not heat up when operating in flame display mode only. For this reason, there are no restrictions regarding the material of the installation niche.

The Dimplex Cassette 500R RGB Multi Opti-Myst can be installed in a niche, in furniture, within a decorative structure, or other interior elements. The fireplace rests on height-adjustable feet, which facilitates proper leveling during installation. The weight of the unit without water is 18 kg.

During installation, it is essential to maintain a minimum distance of 40 cm between the fireplace and any element above it (shelves, TVs, or other obstacles) to prevent condensation. Additionally, the niche where the fireplace is installed must allow free air circulation. During flame display, the fireplace draws air from inside the niche and expels it into the room.
